Tent Camping at Shoreline Stays
Quiet, adults-only lakeside camping on Katie Lake

Tent camping at Shoreline Stays is designed for adults seeking a peaceful, low-impact experience close to nature. This is not traditional campground camping — it’s a slower, quieter way to spend time outdoors,
with space, privacy, and simplicity at its core.
Our campsites are thoughtfully placed along the shoreline of Katie Lake, oriented toward the water and
spaced to preserve quiet and privacy.

Campsites and amenities may evolve gradually as the retreat develops.

What to Expect

Shoreline Stays is an adults-only retreat. This allows us to maintain a consistently calm atmosphere and protect the natural setting for all guests.

Tent-only camping
All sites are tent-only. There are no RVs, trailers, or vehicle-based camping.

Lake-oriented sites
Campsites are positioned to face the lake rather than one another, creating a sense of openness and connection to the water.

Human-powered watercraft only
Kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are welcome. Lake access is shared and natural.

Quiet evenings
Evenings are intended for conversation, stargazing, and quiet enjoyment of the outdoors.

Sound carries naturally across water. Guests seeking the calmest experience may prefer the East Shore sites.
The Campsites
The campsites carefully placed to either side of a peninsula with access to the lake.
All sites are designed to feel unrushed and uncrowded.

The East Shore Sites are located along the eastern side of the peninsula, offering a view across the lake to the island and fields beyond.
The lake-facing tent sites are located close to the shoreline, offering a more sheltered setting and a stronger sense of quiet and proximity to the water. This offers an increased sense of space and privacy.
Each site includes a fire pit suitable for cooking, and an outdoor table with seating for food prep and relaxed dining. The East Shore sites also include additional seating positioned to enjoy the lake.
These sites are limited in number and designed to feel special without being intrusive.
Ideal for couples or small groups seeking a peaceful experience.

West Shore Sites

Spacious lake-facing tent sites situated on the western side of the peninsula.
These sites share the same low-impact design and shoreline access, with a more open aspect across the lake.
Each campsite includes a a fire pit suitable for cooking, and a simple outdoor table with seating for meals and food preparation. The setup is intentionally low-key and practical, leaving space for guests to arrange their own camp chairs for relaxing and enjoying the lake.
