The Shoreline Stays Experience
A quiet, adults-only lakeside eco-retreat
Shoreline Stays was created for people who value quiet places, simple comforts, and time spent close to nature.
Set on Katie Lake - a quiet lake with no public access - this small intentional retreat offers a calmer alternative to busy campgrounds.
With limited sites and generous spacing, the focus remains on the land, the water, and unhurried time outdoors.
Quiet, by Design
Quiet at Shoreline Stays isn’t an afterthought — it’s the foundation.
There are no RVs, no generators, and no high-traffic campground roads. Campsites face the lake rather than one another, creating space, privacy, and a natural sense of ease.
Evenings are meant for conversation, stargazing, and listening to the water.
A Calm Relationship with the Lake
Katie Lake lends itself naturally to a peaceful shoreline experience.
To preserve that character, only human-powered watercraft are welcome — kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards.
Shoreline access remains simple and natural, keeping the focus on quiet use and low impact.
Adults-Only, Intentionally
Shoreline Stays is an adults-only retreat (18+), allowing for a consistently quiet
and relaxed atmosphere.
It’s designed for guests who value shared respect, quiet evenings, and a slower pace.
Simple, Low-Impact Camping
Tent camping here is intentionally uncomplicated.
Each site is designed for one primary tent, with a maximum of two adults. Most stays are for two adults per site. If you are travelling with an additional adult, please reach out before booking so we can discuss options.
There are no permanent structures beyond what’s needed for comfort and safety — the experience remains rooted in the outdoors.
Who Shoreline Stays Is For
Shoreline Stays is well suited to those who:
• Prefer quiet mornings over late-night noise
• Enjoy paddling, reading, walking, and unstructured time
• Appreciate space, simplicity, and shared respect
Who It May Not Be For
Shoreline Stays may not be the right fit for:
• Large gatherings or parties
• RVs, motorhomes, or travel trailers
• High-energy or entertainment-focused camping
• Motorized water use
Vehicle-based tent setups are welcome.
However, Shoreline Stays is not equipped for RVs, motorhomes, or trailers.
Clarity here helps ensure a better experience for everyone.
A Slower Rhythm
Life here follows the natural rhythm of the day.
Mornings arrive quietly.
Days unfold without schedules.
Evenings soften as the light changes on the water.
It’s a place to do less, notice more, and leave feeling rested rather than rushed.
A Thoughtful Approach to Growth
Shoreline Stays is currently being developed in preparation for a Summer 2026 opening — slowly and intentionally, guided by the land itself.
Future additions — including a small number of rustic cabins — will follow the same principles of quiet, simplicity, and low impact.
Growth here is measured, not rushed.
If This Sounds Like Your Kind of Place
If you’re drawn to quiet mornings, unhurried days, and evenings by the water, Shoreline Stays may be just what you’re seeking.
We welcome guests who value simplicity, shared respect, and time well spent outdoors.
