To help keep the retreat peaceful and safe for everyone — including our small flock of Icelandic sheep — we ask that:
-
Pets are leashed at all times
-
Pets are not left unattended
-
Guests clean up after their pets
-
Pet waste must be bagged and disposed of in garbage bins (not left on site)
These simple steps help protect wildlife, livestock, and shared spaces, and ensure Shoreline Stays remains enjoyable for all guests.
A Note on Smoking
Shoreline Stays is a natural, rural setting.
Guests who smoke are asked to dispose of cigarette butts responsibly and not leave them on the ground. Butt disposal in garbage containers is required.

-
Shoreline Stays is located in a natural rural landscape, and wildlife — including the occasional bear — may pass through the area. Please do not leave food unattended and store all food securely.
Respect for the Land
Shoreline Stays is a shared natural space.
As part of our commitment to protect this land and nature we have a Conservation Partnership with Ducks Unlimited Canada, to protect the land in perpetuity.
Guests are asked to:
-
Leave sites as they were found
-
Respect vegetation and wildlife
-
Dispose of waste properly
-
Follow all fire safety guidelines
Is This the Right Fit?
Shoreline Stays is best suited to guests who value quiet, simplicity, and low-impact camping. If you’re seeking a lively or highly social campground experience, this may not be the right place — and that’s okay.
