Is Shoreline Stays adults-only?
Yes. Shoreline Stays is an adults-only retreat for guests 18 years and older, designed to maintain a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.
Is this a tent-only campground?
Yes. All sites at Shoreline Stays are tent-only. RVs, trailers, and vehicle-based camping are not permitted.
What is the difference between East Shore and West Shore sites?
Both site types are lake-facing.
East Shore sites are located closer to the shoreline in a more sheltered setting and are
typically quieter.
West Shore sites are located on the western side of the peninsula with a more open aspect across the lake.
A site map is available to help you choose the option that best suits you.
How many people are allowed per site?
Each campsite accommodates a maximum of 4 adults and is intended for one primary tent.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes.

This helps maintain a calm rhythm and reduce traffic on the property.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome.
Pets must be leashed at all times, as we have sheep on the property, and must not be left unattended.
Guests are asked to clean up after their pets and dispose of bagged waste in garbage bins.
Is there potable (drinking) water on site?
Water available on site is from a standpipe with non-potable water.
Guests should bring their own drinking water or may purchase potable water on site.
Are there toilets and showers?
Yes. Shared facilities include:

A rustic bathroom with a flush toilet and hand washing basin and a separate small area with a shower cubicle

Facilities are simple, clean, and intended for respectful shared use.

Is there Wi-Fi or cell service, or anywhere to change devices?
Cell service in the area is limited.
The Shoreline Cabin, a small shared area, is available as a quiet indoor support space.
Wi-Fi is available inside the cabin only, intended for essential use such as checking messages, rather than streaming or remote work.
Inside the cabin you’ll find:
A small ‘take a book, leave a book’ library
A few board games to borrow
A charging station for small electronics and medical devices (such as CPAP machines)
Can I run a generator at my campsite?
Shoreline Stays is intentionally quiet.
To preserve the quiet generators are not allowed at any time.

Are campfires allowed?
Yes. Each site includes a fire pit.
Guests are asked to follow all fire safety guidelines and never leave fires unattended.
Is wildlife present?
Shoreline Stays is a rural, natural setting and wildlife may occasionally pass through the area. Guests are asked not to leave food unattended and to store food securely.
These simple steps help keep both guests and wildlife safe.
